Skimmers are used to steal payment information during an otherwise legal transaction.

No skimmers have recently been found in Saskatoon but police say they are aware others have been installed in other cities in Western Canada.

Businesses are being reminded to be vigilant in monitoring debit and credit machines to ensure they have not been tampered or replaced.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Saskatoon police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
