KEREMEOS, BC — Thieves made off with six firearms over the weekend, after breaking into a Cawston home.
It happened on September 14, when Keremeos RCMP responded to a residential break and enter in the Fairview Mountain area.
Mounties say they are concerned for public safety and are asking the public for assistance in finding the rifles.
The six items are:
1. Winchester rifle, 300 30, lever action, black barrel with brown wood stock;
2. Midland rifle, 270, bolt action, black barrel with brown wood stock;
3. Cooey shot gun, 12 gauge, hinge break, black barrel with brown wood stock;
4. Cooey rifle, 12 short, bolt action, black barrel with brown wood stock;
5. Ruger rifle, 22 long, semi auto with scoop, black barrel with brown wood stock;
6. Enfield rifle, 303, bolt action (old rifle, WWII).
