REGINA – The SIAST Palliser Campus in Moose Jaw was evacuated Tuesday morning after the campus received its second bomb threat in less than a month.

Moose Jaw police did a combined sweep of the campus just after 9 a.m., looking for anything unusual or out of place. They determined there was no threat to students, staff or SIAST faculty. The campus re-opened at noon for regular scheduled classes.

Moose Jaw police are continuing to investigate the bomb threat. Investigators say it’s very similar to one the campus received on August 25.

Investigators call the language in the threat “worrisome”, and that it’s an incident they’re taking very seriously.

No suspects have been named in either case, but early indications show the two are probably related.
