CALGARY – Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Friday.
Officers were called to a McDonald’s location on Crowfoot Way N.W. around 3 a.m., but say the victim wasn’t at the scene.

Later on, police were alerted when a man showed up at Foothills Hospital with stab wounds to his abdomen and leg.
The victim told officers he was attacked at the northwest McDonald’s, but police say he is no longer cooperating with their investigation.
Officers have one person of interest in custody.
The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
