WATCH: Homer Simpson does the Ice Bucket Challenge

TORONTO — Popular TV dad Homer Simpson is the latest celebrity to take the Ice Bucket Challenge and post the frigid fun online.

“I challenge Flanders, Lenny and Flanders again,” the Simpsons patriarch declares in the clip. “Oh, and why not? Donald Trump.”

The corpulent cartoon character then pours a glass of ice water over his head.

But the video doesn’t end there. Homer gets a lot more dumped on his head — including a polar bear, penguins and an ice cream truck — by a cackling kid (guess who!) in a helicopter.

“Fight ALS,” Homer mutters under the crush of objects.

The Ice Bucket Challenge, sparked in late July by ALS sufferer Pete Frates, has been a viral sensation and has raised awareness of the disease and millions of dollars in donations for research.
