UPDATE: Missing Saskatchewan man located in Saskatoon

POUNDMAKER FIRST NATION, Sask. – Cut Knife RCMP are asking the public for help in locating a missing Saskatchewan man.

Vernon Kasokeo, 40, was last seen on Aug. 18 at his residence on the Poundmaker First Nation. Mounties were contacted on Thursday asking for assistance in locating him.

Kasokeo is about 5’7”, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he was wearing.

Mounties say it is possible in may be in, or travelling to, Saskatoon but there have been no confirmed sightings.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kasokeo is asked to contact Cut Knife RCMP at 306-398-3500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Poundmaker First Nation is approximately 180 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
