House fire displaces five people in Burnaby

Fire officials say the type of roof gave them a challenge.

Investigators are searching for the cause of an overnight house fire in Burnaby.

Flames broke out around midnight at the home on Neville Street near Plum Avenue.

The fire appears to have started in the back of the home with the flames quickly spreading.

Five people living at the home got out safely.  Fire officials say the type of roof on the home was challenging.
