Young Okanagan Crash Victim Identified


PENTICTON – The BC Coroners Service has released the name of the young man struck and killed in a Penticton motor vehicle accident over the weekend.

It happened about 1:45 on Saturday morning.

The BC Coroners Service says 18 year old Drew Kenneth Wolfe-Fraser died after being struck by a fully loaded dump truck.

He had been walking along Eckhardt Avenue near Alberni Street when the crash occurred.

The Penticton teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate.

A Celebration of Life service for Wolfe-Fraser will be held Friday at 1p.m. at the Shatford Center.
