Raids on three Saskatoon residences lead to drug bust

SASKATOON – A four-month long drug trafficking investigation has ended with a raid on three Saskatoon residences and cocaine, MDMA and marijuana being seized.

Member of the combined forces special enforcement unit executed search warrants on residences in the 1000-block Temperance Street, the 300-block of Zary Road and the 100-block of 25th Street East on Tuesday.

Police seized around 2.5 kilos of cocaine, 650 grams of MDMA and 18 kilograms of marijuana.

An estimated $42,000 in cash, three vehicles and items believed to have been obtained through the proceeds of crime were also seized.

Three men, 33, 32 and 28, along with a 28-year-old woman are facing numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and proceeds of crime.

Their names have not been released.

They are scheduled to appear in provincial court on Wednesday.
