SASKATOON – Grocery shoppers in Saskatoon will have two new options after the re-branding of two Extra Food stores in Saskatoon.

The first of two independent grocers opened in Saskatoon last week.

Golding’s, Your Independent Grocer opened its doors in the former Extra Foods located at 315 Herold Road.

The stores, owned by Loblaw Companies and run by local Saskatoon store owners, will feature fresh and locally-sourced food along with a hot meal replacement program and a juicing bar.

The second store opens this Friday at 30 Kenderdine Road.
