REGINA – A 41-year-old woman from Collingwood Estates is dead after an accident on a grid road in southern Saskatchewan on Friday morning.

The woman was driving her black SUV on a grid road that extends from Highway 731. Early investigation reveals that the SUV drifted to the left side of the road and traveled along the grass before hitting several large rocks.

The SUV rolled and was resting on its passenger side in a slough along the road.

The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was fog in the area throughout the night, which may have been a factor in the accident.
