The 26-year-old Arrested Development star, who hails from Ontario, stars in movies like Superbad and Juno.

According to his Bandcamp profile, Cera is based in New York and “was born in Canada in 1988 at the tender age of zero.”

Cera contributed mandolin and some backing vocals to Weezer’s song “Hang On” and he has played bass guitar for indie rock band Mister Heavenly.

He has also performed music in his films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

Reviews for the album are largely positive.

“This eclectic, jazzy, at times old timey, and charmingly folky album is a breathe (sic) of fresh air,” wrote Devin Kadillak.

Cody Mitchell opined: “Really, really, really good stuff. Refreshingly lo-fi in a heavily produced climate.”

Cera’s famous friend Jonah Hill also showed his support for the album, tweeting: “My great friend Michael Cera not only is a brilliant actor, he also makes great music.”
