SASKATOON – The “King of Swat” would have a hard time swinging Canada’s largest baseball bat.
At 50 feet tall and weighing in at 2,300 pounds, the ginormous bat is being made in Saskatoon.
It’s been a two year process and will be sent to the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame in Battleford, Sask. next week.

“We’re a little bit worried about moving it, transporting it, but we’ll give it a try and see what happens,” said Kyle Markussa, president of Progressive Yard Works which is making the bat.
“It’s just a matter of a couple of forklifts picking it up and putting it on a flat deck and shipping it off. It will be quite the sight to see driving down the highway, a giant baseball bat, and I hope we don’t cause accidents.”
