PENTICTON — Penticton city councillor Katie Robinson hasn’t shied away from making her opinion on the controversial Boonstock festival known.
“I thought it was a disaster going somewhere to happen and that’s what happened,” Robinson told Global Okanagan Monday. But comments she made at Tuesday’s council meeting went one step further. When asked if she attended the festival, Robinson replied “No, I’m not a headbanging druggie so I wasn’t interested whatsoever.”
Robinson has since publicly apologized for the comment issuing the following release to media:
