NEAR KELOWNA–A driver survived a high speed crash at Thunder Mountain Raceway east of Kelowna Sunday afternoon.

Peter Rudy was driving a turbocharged Ford powered Toyota Corolla when he lost traction, slammed the safety barrier three times and then went off the track through water filled barriers at a return road.
