VANCOUVER – A “significant amount” of money has been turned in to the Nanaimo RCMP by a local merchant.
Police say they received the undisclosed amount of cash on Monday, July 21.
The money will be held by police for 90 days, unless it is claimed by the lawful owner. Is it yours?
If it is not claimed, the finder may be eligible to receive it, but it if is not claimed by either party the money will be handed over to the City of Nanaimo and added to their general revenue account.
