CALGARY – A 22-year-old man had to be taken to hospital on Monday after crashing his motorcycle east of Cochrane.
The collision happened just before 9 p.m. on Old Banff Coach Road, near Shantara Grove.

RCMP say the bike left the roadway and entered the south ditch on a curve.
The driver was transported to hospital in Calgary with non-life-threatening injures.
Officials don’t think speed or alcohol were factors in the collision.
No charges are being laid.
