Police say it’s fortunate no one else was injured during the shooting because numerous people were in the area at the time.

“There were quite a few people in the area so it’s presumed that somebody knows what happened. Somebody saw something and detectives are asking those people to come forward with information,” said Patrycia Thenu, EPS Communications.

Investigators interviewed several people Sunday morning, but have not released any information about potential suspects or details about the victim.
