Victim shot on 17th ave is not cooperating with police

Police are looking for suspects after a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the Beltline.

Investigators say he actually flagged down EMS himself, around 2:40 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of 17th Avenue SW.

The man was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but his condition has since been upgraded to non-life threatening.

Police say they’re not sure where the shooting actually happened, but have not located shell casings to suggest a drive-by shooting.

Police have spoken with the victim, but say he’s not cooperating with investigators.
