VANCOUVER – Surrey RCMP are still investigating after a 19-year-old man was found in Pitt Meadows Wednesday night.

Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a call of a vehicle in a ditch in the 13800-block of Sharpe Road at about 9:20 p.m.

They found the teenager who was walking away from the vehicle saying he had been abducted in Surrey.

RCMP say they have found two witnesses in Surrey who they are questioning for more information.

The teenager is known to police, had minor injuries and is cooperating with the investigation.

It is still in its very early stages, however, officers believe this to be a targeted incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvercrime.ca.
