TORONTO – A third person is facing charges in connection with the case of a 24-year-old man found dead in a Toronto park almost two years ago.
Police say an Alberta man has been arrested and returned to Toronto to face charges in the case.
Two Toronto men have already been charged in the death of George Fawell, whose body was found near a set of railway tracks in a park behind an arena in August 2012.
Mauro Granados-Arana, 25, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault, while Wayne Estwick, 26, was arrested a week earlier and charged with aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
Police say the Alberta man, identified as Michael Martins, 52, now also faces charges of aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
