Grand opening of new Saskatoon police headquarters

SASKATOON – It’s out with the old and in with the new for Saskatoon Police Service as a ceremony will mark the closure of its old headquarters and the grand opening of the new building.

Chief Clive Weighill will lock the doors at the old headquarters located on 4th Street at 10:30 a.m.

Following that, a parade of officers will march to the new headquarters on 25th Street, arriving around 11:20 a.m.

A grand opening ceremony and the unveiling of a plaque will mark the occasion.

Traffic restrictions will be in place on 25th Street until noon.
