EDMONTON – The midnight deadline to claim last Friday’s Edmonton Eskimos 50/50 ticket has passed, and the $71,732 prize remains unclaimed.

The owner of the ticket had to come forward by midnight Tuesday.

Because that did not happen, the ticket is no longer valid, and goes into the pot for Thursday’s game against the Stampeders.

Based on previous totals, that could mean a 50/50 pot of $140,000 on Thursday.

The Edmonton Eskimos have applied to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission to have the $71,732 jackpot rolled over to the July 24 game.

The organization is waiting for AGLC approval.

Though it’s too late to claim now, the winning ticket number was 175286C.
