LEOVILLE, Sask. – A man who was spotted standing in the middle of a Saskatchewan highway Friday evening was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
Spiritwood RCMP said they received a call around 10:20 p.m. about the man on Highway 24 south of Leoville.

While officers were on the way to the call, a second call was received, followed by a third call saying the man had been hit by a vehicle.

The 26-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Mounties continue to investigate and say no charges have been laid at this time.
