BRIDGEWATER, N.S. – Police have charged a 60-year-old man with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man on Little Tancook Island, N.S.
Terry Roy Levy was to appear in Bridgewater provincial court Wednesday, a day after a 47-year-old man was found dead in a field on the island.
Police say they were called at about 9 a.m. Tuesday after a man’s body was discovered on Little Tancook Island on the province’s south coast.
Police say Levy was arrested without incident just over an hour later and is said to have known the victim.
Police are continuing their investigation.
