Attempted murder suspect apprehended by Saskatchewan police

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP say a second attempted murder suspect is in custody.

Kevin Brian Henderson, 30, was located by Prince Albert police early Saturday morning.

Mounties said Henderson may have been armed and dangerous.

He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday morning.

Another suspect, 26-year-old Shantel Lauren Mike, was apprehended earlier this week.

The investigation originated from an assault on the Montreal Lake First Nation on June 30.

Both suspects were wanted for kidnapping, aggravated assault, robbery and two counts of theft of a motor vehicle after Marina Henderson went missing after an assault.

Marina Henderson, 66, was found on Tuesday in Prince Albert.

Montreal Lake First Nation is approximately 220 km north of Saskatoon.
