Icy Mocha Smoothie
500 ml (2 cups) chocolate milk
Get daily National news
375 ml (1 1/2 cups) ice cubes
15 ml (1 tbsp) instant coffee or 125 ml (1/2 cup) cold strong coffee
15 ml (1 tbsp) chocolate syrup or sugar (or to taste)
250 ml (1 cup) vanilla yogurt
In a blender, combine chocolate milk, ice cubes, instant coffee and chocolate syrup; puree until smooth. Add yogurt and blend.
Makes 1 l (4 cups.)
Nutritional information per 250-ml (1-cup) serving: 162 calories; 7 g protein; 26 g carbohydrate; 4 g fat; 0.8 g fibre; 115 mg sodium; 226 mg calcium.
