KELOWNA — Kelowna RCMP have released a photo of a suspect wanted in connection with a string of break-and-enters involving local businesses.
The first incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday at the Columbia Bottle Depot on Kirschner Road. The place had been rummaged through, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
The break-in was caught on video.
Shortly after, someone tried to break into the Salvation Army on Sutherland Drive where the door was shattered, but again, nothing was taken.
Within minutes of the Salvation Army incident, a business called White and Peters on Banks Road was broken into where the door had been pried open and the cash drawer was taken.
On Monday at around 4:30 a.m., someone broke into a business called Fastenal on Dalton Road off McCurdy. Police say the door had been smashed and four power tools were stolen.
Police say that it might be the same suspect committing the break-ins or that he’s working with someone else considering the short time between the crimes.
