Summer water restrictions for Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver is reminding homeowners that water restrictions start on Sunday, June 1.

Until the end of September you will only be able  to water your lawn between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.

People with an even-numbered address can water Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Homeowners with an odd-numbered address can water their lawns on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The regional demand for water doubles during the hottest days of summer to as much as two billion litres of water a day.
