ORO-MEDONTE TOWNSHIP, Ont. – Provincial police say the Special Investigations Unit is probing a collision between a motorcycle and an OPP vehicle about 120 kilometres north of Toronto.
Police say the motorcycle was spotted Wednesday afternoon travelling at a high rate of speed southbound in Oro-Medonte Township.

OPP say the motorcycle continued southbound and collided with a police vehicle just south of the intersection of Line 2 and Mount St. Louis Road.
The man on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a Toronto area trauma centre from hospital in Barrie.
The SIU investigates reports involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
