Fire at licensed marijuana grow op damaged Mission building

A fire at a licensed marijuana grow operation in Mission early Saturday morning has heavily damaged a building.

RCMP said the blaze broke out at around 2 a.m. in a non-residential building on Lougheed Highway in the Silverdale area.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, but it is believed to be related to the grow operation.

No one was injured in the blaze.
