KELOWNA — It looks like the family of Taylor Van Diest will not have to sit through another trial.
Van Diest of Armstrong was killed by Matthew Foerster, 28, of Cherryville on Halloween night in 2011.
Foerster was found guilty of first-degree murder in April and is serving a 25 year sentence.
His 60-year-old father was also charged with obstruction of justice and being an accessory after the fact in connection with the Van Diest killing.
According to the Capital News, Stephen Foerster is going to enter a guilty plea to the charges, sparing the Van Diest family another trial.
He’s due in Kelowna court Wednesday.
