Fredericton police have identified the human remains found at Odell Park last Monday.
The body of 31-year-old Joshua David Jewett was discovered on April 28 after police received a tip around 9 a.m. from someone who had seen it while walking in the park.

When investigators responded, they said it appeared as though the body had been there for “quite a while”.
Jewett had been reported missing by his family in early February.
Police say foul play is not suspected, but will not release the cause of death out of respect for his family.
