OYAMA– An incident in Lake Country Monday night has left a young man clinging to life.
The discovery was made just after 7pm in Oyama.
Lake Country fire was called to assist a man who was found floating, face down on Wood Lake not far from shore.
It’s believed he had been in the water for a short amount of time.
He was not breathing but crews worked on him for close to 20 minutes and were able to get a pulse.
A medivac helicopter was brought in but in the end he was rushed to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance.
There was no word on the man’s condition late Monday.
