TORONTO – A woman faces charges after police chased a vehicle on a stretch of highway in Mississauga, Ont.
Provincial police say an eastbound vehicle driving “erratically” collided with another vehicle on Highway 401 around midnight Saturday but kept on going.
An officer caught up to it on Highway 427 but couldn’t stop the driver.
Additional officers were called in and the suspect vehicle was brought to a halt on a Toronto street.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kitchener resident Bojana Jokovic is charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
She’s due in court in June.
