EDMONTON – A man accused of killing a good samaritan in a hit and run has pleaded not guilty.
On June 13, 2012, Andrew Green stopped to help a stranded driver fix a flat tire on Anthony Henday Drive near 62 Ave.
As Green placed traffic triangles behind the vehicle, he was hit and killed by a passing vehicle.
Kieran Porter, 35, was charged with failing to stop at the scene of a fatal collision, careless driving and hit and run.
