SASKATOON – Modern technology has helped Saskatoon police locate a stolen vehicle and put three teens behind bars.
The vehicle had been stolen in Alberta and was being tracked by its owners via on-board GPS. Police learned the stolen vehicle was in the 300-block of Avenue U South just after 7 p.m. on Monday.
Responding officers located it parked in the block with two people inside. A third person was nabbed a short time later.
Two Saskatoon women, 19 and 18, and a 17-year-old man from Edmonton are facing stolen property charges.
Their names have not been released.
The trio were scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
