TORONTO – Three people were treated in a Sacramento hospital last week after being attacked by their pet cat Khat.
“It went crazy, it wouldn’t stop,” Khat’s owner told TV station News 10. “It just kinda flipped.”
The pet’s owner, who didn’t want to be identified, told News 10 Khat has never been aggressive.

“The cat ran and jumped on his leg and was like, attached to him,” the owner told the ABC news affiliate.
The family’s call to police was directed to the local fire department.
“We tried to push it into a cage, and it grabbed on to my engineer’s boot and turnout bottom and was hissing and going off,” the fire captain said.
Firefighters managed to cage Khat with the help of a fire blanket and a metal pole.
Khat remains with the SPCA.
