SASKATOON – It’s the home stretch for the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) of Saskatchewan worst roads campaign and the number of votes has already surpassed the previous campaign totals.

At week three, the campaign hit a new record with over 3,000 votes cast.

The third annual campaign is once again working towards better roads and advocating for driver safety.

The CAA worst roads campaign helps put a spotlight on troublesome and dangerous road conditions in the province and attempts to help address the roads most in need of attention.

Motorists can still vote for the worst roads in Saskatchewan.

Here’s the current top 10 leaders for worst road:

  1. Saskatchewan 24 – Leoville
  2. Saskatchewan 21- Paradise Hill
  3. Saskatchewan 155 – La Loche
  4. Saskatchewan 44 – Eston
  5. Saskatchewan 51 – Major
  6. Northern Woods and Water Route – Carrot River
  7. Saskatchewan 908 – Île-à-la-Crosse
  8. Saskatchewan 918 – Patuanak
  9. Saskatchewan 123 – Cumberland House
  10. Saskatchewan 51 – Kerrobert

During the 2013 campaign, Highway 123 near Cumberland House, Sask. was voted the worst road.

This year’s campaign lasts until Friday, April 25.
