TORONTO — The American Idol tour is hitting the road this summer — but making only two stops north of the border.
The show’s top 10 singers will perform June 27 at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ont. and the following night at Casino Rama in Orillia, Ont.
The venues on this year’s tour are decidedly smaller than previous American Idol tours. They include casino showrooms and outdoor amphitheatres.
It’s not yet known if Caesars Windsor and Casino Rama will waive their 19+ requirement for concerts.
The 41-city tour kicks off June 24 in Binghamton, New York and wraps up Aug. 23 in Redmond, Washington.
Season 13 finalists C.J. Harris, Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, MK Nobilette, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf will be on the tour.
Tickets go on sale May 9.
