Shot fired at moving vehicle on Circle Drive in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Two men were arrested by Saskatoon police for discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle early Sunday morning.

Around 2 a.m., police received a complaint that a shot had been fired into a vehicle travelling northbound on Circle Drive at Attridge Drive.

No injuries were reported.

Further investigation led police to two separate addresses where the male suspects, ages 17 and 20, were arrested.

The 20-year-old man had an outstanding warrant for obstructing a police officer.

Both are now facing numerous firearms-related charges.

They will appear before a Justice of the Peace on Sunday evening.

Police say this may be related to a firearms incident which occurred in Clavet, Saskatchewan. RCMP are currently investigating this incident.
