HALIFAX – RCMP have arrested three men suspected in a series of break and enters in the Halifax area.
Police investigating break-ins at homes under construction in Lucasville conducted a checkpoint Sunday night.
RCMP allege one vehicle tried to evade the checkpoint and someone tossed a duffel bag from the window.
Police say the bag contained pry bars, bolt cutters and other items believed to be used in break and enters.
Three men, aged 18, 21 and 45, were later arrested.
They have since been released from custody and are due in court at a later date.
