Police collectively target 3 Sask. communities for drug trafficking

SASKATOON – A collective effort from multiple police agencies led to a drug trafficking bust in three Saskatchewan communities.

After nine months of investigating, five search warrants were executed at homes and businesses on Monday.

Investigators were looking into illicit drug trafficking, money laundering and proceeds of crime in Mistatim, Tisdale and Arborfield.

Project “F-HALFNELSON” resulted in seven arrests and charges of trafficking in marijuana and cocaine.

The operation on Monday involved around 60 specialized officers from police agencies across the province.

The investigation is still ongoing.
