SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. – An Ontario man stopped by police in Saskatchewan was found with marijuana worth an estimated street value of $300,000.
The RCMP Swift Current roving traffic unit stopped an eastbound vehicle near the city on Thursday afternoon and found 48.5 pounds of weed in the vehicle.

The 35-year-old man from Sault St. Marie, Ont. was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He is scheduled to appear in Swift Current provincial court on Monday.
