The first week of the Matthew Foerster trial wrapped up today.
The Cherryville man faces a first degree murder charge in the death of Taylor Van Diest, the Armstrong teen, who’s body was found badly beaten near railway tracks in Armstrong on Halloween night, 2011.

This morning, the jury was shown more video of a police interview of Foerster shortly after his arrest.
The interview included several emotional and pointed exchanges between police and Foerster.
The trial resumes Monday. It is scheduled for a total of three weeks.
