Starting Friday, June 3, Dalmeny Road will be closed between Highway 14 and 33rd Street for road reconstruction. This closure is expected to last until Sunday, June 5, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.
This is the first of three expected closures of Dalmeny Road during the month of June. Expect closures between 33rd Street and Auction Mart Road (the extension of 71st Street) for the weekends of June 10-12 and 17-19. This work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Depending on the destination, motorists could consider using Circle Drive and Idylwyld Drive during the closures.
Motorists are reminded to allow extra time when travelling through construction areas, watch for work crews, and obey all detours, signs, and barriers.
