Man, 24, injured in Dartmouth shooting

HALIFAX – A 24-year-old man is recovering after being shot in North End Dartmouth.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at least five gunshots were heard on Bras Dor Lane then witnesses report seeing two men run away.

Halifax police and the K-9 unit searched for the suspects in the area between Albro Lake Road, Victoria Road and Nantucket Avenue. They found five shell casings but did not locate the suspects or a weapon. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as two black men in their early 20s. Police said they are both approximately five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine in height and were wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police.
