WINNIPEG – Police are investigating a suspicious death at a Balmoral Avenue apartment block on Wednesday morning.
Police said they went to the building to investigate a report of a sudden death and found a dead woman inside a residence. They’ve been at the scene between Portage Avenue and Broadway since then.

An autopsy is pending, they said. Further details were not released.
Neighbours said most of the apartments at 247 Balmoral are empty while the building is renovated.
