Saskatoon teacher spots student holding hunting knife

SASKATOON – A 17-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly bringing a hunting knife to a Saskatoon school on Wednesday morning.

Police were called to a high school in the 1900-block of Preston Avenue around 11:15 a.m. after a teacher saw a student holding the weapon.

The teen was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and was scheduled to appear before a justice of the peace on Wednesday evening.
