Stormy weather passed through the Okanagan Wednesday night, leaving utility and rescue crews scrambling.
There were reports of electrical lines that went down and power outages around Shuswap Lake, Armstrong, Fintry and Summerland that were caused by the strong winds.
Emergency vessels were also out patrolling Okanagan Lake for boats that had gotten intro trouble; some sailboats had been racing near the Bennett Bridge when the winds hit.
Meanwhile, a houseboat was reported to have gone aground.
